Patrice Derrington

SINCE 1996, PATRICE DERRINGTON has served as managing director of Victory Capital Management and was the founder and manager of the Victory Real Estate Investment Fund, a mutual fund that owns real estate securities. From March through December 2002, she also served as vice president corporate development for the Lower Manhattan Development Corp., responsible for financial structuring for the revitalization of lower Manhattan and projects related to redevelopment of the World Trade Center site. From 1991 through 1996, Derrington was a vice president with Chemical Bank (JP Morgan), working in the area of real estate finance. Previously, she was an assistant professor in real estate with Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Carnegie Mellon University. She also currently serves on the board of directors at AmeriVest Properties, Inc. (NYSE: AMV).

Derrington graduated from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia with a degree in architecture, earned a Ph.D. in architecture and civic engineering from the University of California at Berkely and a M.B.A. from Harvard University.
