Lesia Bates Moss
LESIA BATES MOSS has been with Moody's Investors Service since
April 1997, and is currently a senior vice president in the Real Estate Finance Group, where she manages a diversified portfolio of REITs, real estate operating companies and government-sponsored enterprises. Moss also serves as the
U.S. senior analyst for Japanese real estate. Prior to joining Moody’s, she was an associate with Glaves and Associates, Inc., an institutional real estate investment advisory firm. Moss has also served in various real estate-related positions in
the public sector, including: director, New York State Insurance Department
Liquidation Bureau; director, New York City Department of General Services;
and manager, New York City Housing Authority. Earlier, she was an assistant manager in the retail division of Chemical Banking Corporation.
Moss holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and a M.B.A. in real estate
investment and finance from New York University. She was the first recipient of the NYU Real Estate Institute Alumni Award.
