Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs Shelley Schorsch left her position at American Financial Realty Trust (NYSE: AFR) in July for health-related reasons. She will retain her title as co-founder and assist in an advisory, capacity as needed.

Randy I. Anderson is the new chief economist and head of investment research for CNL Financial Group, Inc. Previously, Anderson served as the Ryder Eminent Scholar Chair and was a professor of real estate and finance at Florida International University.

Thomas Hutchison III resigned as the chief executive officer for CNL Income Properties Inc. as well as the director of CNL Income Corp. in order to concentrate on other company business. Hutchinson continues to serve as CEO for CNL Hotels & Resorts Inc.

Mike Carmody has been named director of technology and Nan Zieleniec has become the senior vice president of human resources at Developers Diversified Realty Corporation (NYSE: DDR).

Attorneys Les Loffman and Sandy Presant recently joined DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary US LLP. Loffman and Presant previously served as the national director of REIT services and the national director of real estate fund services, respectively, for Ernst & Young LLP.

FelCor Lodging Trust Incorporated (NYSE: FCH) named Colleen Quinn and Frank Solano vice presidents of asset management.

Hersha Hospitality Trust (AMEX: HT) has appointed Michael R. Gillespie to the newly created position of chief accounting officer. Gillespie will oversee accounting, audit functions and financial reporting for the company’s property portfolio.

Bruce Riggins joined Innkeepers USA Trust (NYSE: KPA) as chief financial officer.

Heidi Roth is replacing Anne Marie Whitney as senior vice president and controller at Kilroy Realty Corporation (NYSE: KRC). Previously, Roth was vice president of internal reporting and strategic planning for Kilroy. Whitney will be leaving the position to spend more time with her family.
