Alpine Creates Global Premier Properties Fund
[May/June 2007]

On Feb. 16, Alpine Woods filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to launch Alpine Global Premier Properties Fund, a closed-end fund intended to invest up to 80 percent of its assets in real estate equity. This new fund joins a family of overseas investment products supervised by industry guru and global investment pioneer Sam Lieber, Alpine’s CEO.

The Behringer of Good News
Behringer Harvard REIT plans to introduce a new REIT fund, Behringer Harvard Opportunity REIT II Inc. In SEC filings, Behringer Harvard REIT announced plans to raise up to $1 billion for its IPO with Behringer Securities, to create a proposed maximum offering of $10 per share.
